What is my Portal?

Your Portal is your personal online space. It is where we show you the information gathered by the black box, including how many miles you have used and how many remain. You can also see how many Bonus Miles you have earned, buy Top Up Miles, and access your policy documents and any saved quotes.

When will the information show on my Portal?

We receive data approximately every 60 miles (96 Km) so you can view your driving statistics regularly. Please note: for the first 5-6 weeks after you buy your policy, you will not have access to information about any Bonus Miles you have earned.

During this period we will be collecting information from your black box to ensure that we accurately and fairly reward your driving behaviour.

Why won't my Portal load?

This may be because cookies are blocked in your browser. Cookies are small files stored on a computer’s hard drive and are generally harmless. They are used to recognise you so that you receive a more consistent website experience. Cookies can contain information about your preferences that allows a site to provide a more personal service.

insurethebox will not track or collect any personally identifiable information of site visitors. We will not match any data gathered from our site with any personally identifying information from any other source. We will not associate your IP address with any other data held by any third party.

If you prefer that insurethebox do not collect data by using cookies, you can disable this function within your browser settings. However, if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of the insurethebox site, including customisation of the web content to reflect your personal usage.

What should I do if I cannot log into my Portal?

Your login details will be the email address and password you provided when you bought the policy. If you are unable to login please speak to one of our agents on Live Chat via Your Portal.
