To record miles accurately we fit a Telematics device called a Clear Box to your car

• Fitting a Clear Box is a condition of cover
• Your insurance will start from your chosen start date, prior to the box being fitted.
• The supply and fitting of the Clear Box is included in the price we've quoted

The Clear Box is fitted for you

• Fitting the Clear Box must take place within two weeks of you purchasing your insurance
• Fitting is by one of our experienced installers and takes around one hour
• Either at your home or place of work at a mutually convenient time

What does it look like?

• When you purchase your car insurance from insurethebox we arrange for a Clear Box to be fitted to your car. The fitting process takes around an hour and can be carried out at your home or place of work at a time agreed between you and our fitting team. Fitting is normally carried out Monday to Friday.
• The Clear Box is about the size of a smart phone (see right) and is fitted discretely behind the dashboard of the vehicle.
