No, the No Claim Discount has to be earned by the policyholder as the policy is in their name.
You will need to send us evidence of your NCD from your last UK insurer within 14 days. NCD and proof must be:
- Earned in the UK from an insurer authorised in the UK
- Earned on a private car
- The original copy, written in English on company headed paper
- In your name as the policyholder
- Earned on a policy that expired less than 2 years ago
Yes. We have calculated your premium based on the No Claim Discount you stated that you acquired through previous insurance policies and we need to see proof that you are entitled to this discount. You can request your previous insurer to supply evidence of your NCD or send us a copy of your renewal notice.
If you can’t prove that you’re entitled to this No Claim Discount when we ask you to, we reserve the right to adjust your premium, or cancel your policy accordingly.
No – when you declare your No Claim Discount it must not be currently used to insure another vehicle.
No – we do not accept No Claim Discounts earned outside of the UK.
